What is a Bodé Massage?
This is probably the most important and personal part of what Bodé means to its clients a caring, comfortable, professional and healing massage. It represents the most ancient and historical basis of the care aspect of today's modern spa facility. Massages must cater to your physical and emotional needs. Our directive is to provide you, the patron, a haven, a place to relax, a place to release pain, or tension, a place to talk, a place to be silent, a place where you leave feeling like someone new, and someone relaxed and stress free.
The modalities of our therapists are vast at Bodé Spa. We strongly encourage you to read the bios of our massage staff. This way you have a better understanding of what they have done, what they do now, and perhaps get a feeling for their approach to the art of massage. We boast here at Bodé Spa for having the largest, most spacious room dedicated to esthetics. The word encompasses many services which include: waxing, facial skin care, shaving techniques and education, guy brow shaping, nose and ear waxing, eye and lash tinting, foot and hand care, including therapeutic foot care, scalp massage and more. Three of our staff are ready and able in this department to meet your needs and care.

Bodé Manscaping
The territory and geography of the male body deserves a great deal more of attention than what the average spa is able to offer until you have stepped over our threshold. Bode understands you and will help you groom your hair on your body –making sure not only are your brows in a manly fashion but you will not leave here with unsightly ear and nose hairs. We offer clipping where you might be finding it difficult to reach or keep an even appearance. So with clippers in hand we can transform your look or combine it with waxing.
Waxing is the second most popular service request at Bode Spa. The owners of Bode are national trainers for men’s waxing so you can be rest assured you are in well experienced hands. We have up to 6 different types of waxes ready for every skin type and hair type that enter our rooms. Our emphasis is to coach you through the process of weakening you hair growth over time or perhaps just get you ready for that special beach holiday. We offer free follow-up care and consultation and we make sure you have the right products and education for a positive aftercare result. We wax every part of the body you can imagine but all of it is in the context of the needs of our male patron.

What is Hydrotherapy?
Bode Spa has spent months of research and months of work to create a “wet room” to enhance our clients spa experience. We have drawn on treatment rooms from ancient Turkey to Provence. This is not a typical “vichy” type spa room , its better because the entire experience is conducted in a manual fashion and not by a machine engaged on a timer. Our therapists are with you for the experience.
The room measures 12 X 9 with tall 9 foot stone walls with stain glass windows and a huge “rain drop” head shower. The hydrotherapy room is not a steam room (yet light steam is created), it is not a sauna (yet it’s well heated) it has a misting system and unique water system. You relax on a special insulated comfortable table with head and leg rests.
Bode launched this room to our visiting clients in the fall of 08 and the feedback has been overwhelming to say the least. To try and sum up what people have said its usually that they felt they had been “carried away to another world”, or “they never have felt so relaxed” or “a room never made them feel so good about themselves” or “they felt they just had a massage in a rainforest!”

HEAT, STEAM, HIGH PRESSURED WATER and a MIST help to create a massage that is very unique. It is a very relaxing experience but with many benefits.
Body Treatments

Dermatologists remind us how important it is for us to exfoliate our faces occasionally well think of how important this is for your entire body. With this service we will choose a proper scrub that is healthy and effective for your skin type. Because we can now incorporate water into this service the benefits have doubled. As well we wash your scalp with natural cleansers. This service is HIGHLY recommended for those whom are planning a southern trip – your sun products will respond to your skin if the dead cells have been removed.

Turkish style body treatment (60 minutes)...................................$120
Taking traditions from the ancient Turkish baths we bring you this body treatment. Using natural loofahs we exfoliate your skin bringing blood circulation to the surface, this in turn causes the lymphatic system to detox the body. In the next step we use the application of special soaps from Thailand where your skin is washed. The soap lather acts as a glide. We then massage your body and end the session with a relaxing rinse of warm water. This service is very helpful for those of you with oily skin.

Mud wrap (60 minutes).................................................................$95
If you are looking for healthy skin and a “ detox “ of your skin this is the treatment for you. We apply mud to your entire body. The mud is from the Moor Mud Company of Canada with organic properties. After your wrap, which alone lasts about 25 min., we use the wet room features to remove the mud. The session ends with a massage to replace lost moisture using a body butter or a Thaly Spa moisturizer

Couples Therapy

Yes we are sending you into the Hydrotherapy Chamber ALONE !! This is a fun and neat experience. We give you lots of instruction so not to worry ! The package works like this: first we get you into a warm Bode Spa robe and show you how the water system works and how to apply the product. You will be given one bowl of Body Scrub and a bowl of Mud. You will exfoliate one another and then rinse, then apply mud to your entire body. Now covered in mud you will rest on the bench or table in the Hydrotherapy room and let it do its magic while you enjoy a nice cool drink. After 20 min or so you will rinse off and then come out of the room where we provide a moisturizer for your face and body. COUPLES LOVE THIS SERVICE ! IT'S FUN, IT'S HEALTHY and IT'S SEXY.

Our bodies, especially the male body, and the surface of ones skin is often ignored. We as men perhaps were not taught enough about the importance and balance that our skin requires. Granted our skin is thicker that women’s and can take some abuse, but at some point men's skin needs some care. Dermatologists would agree that even weekly skin treatments would benefit any skin type so why not see what we can do for your birthday suit.
Bode Spa offers a variety of body care treatments , from our safe “fake” tan to our hydrotherapy body exfoliating treatments. This is not to mention our Facial Skin Care which you will find under the esthetics section of this website.

We all like a package or a surprise because once unwrapped we have this multiple array of things to choose from. We have something for everyone at Bodé. From our TEST DRIVE” which literally allows the recipient to experience 3 services and two spaces in the spa for one hour to our 7 hour “SPA SLUT” package where you will be pampered in a manner in which Louis the XIV would be envious. We encourage you to call us so we can explain the packages in detail and perhaps add that little something for some one to make their day here (or yours ) a perfect one. Remember we offer gift certificates in any form you require.

Need to get rid of him all day? This is the package! Start off your day with a Deluxe Foot Fix (Pedicure) and Deluxe Hand Fix (Manicure). Break for a delicious lunch. Then move onto a full Body Scrub followed by a rinse in our new hydrotherapy room. After you are all smooth we give you a 1.5 hour massage. Complete the day with a refreshment break and a Deep Cleansing Facial.
